Multi - Tasking Generation

I am not really that good on multi - tasking but sometimes I do that depending on what the work is. Usually, if it's Humanities homework, I would concentrate on it a lot but especially for Math, I might have my Gmail or my YouTube open because I'm a fast worker on math and it won't matter for me if I have to do it on the last minute. I even play games sometimes when I'm doing my homework (sometimes, my parents found out but they only banned games if I'm playing it for a long time) just to relax and have some fun in between.

I have a lot of distractions when I'm doing my homework because I like to keep chat on in case I have trouble on some assignments in which I can ask other people for help. I also get annoyed if the computer froze or the Internet is slow because I have lots of homework on the Internet in Google Docs and I found out I'm pretty short tempered on computer when they're slow or when they froze.

The strategies I use to avoid multi - tasking is first, I would close everything except for the document or the thing I'm currently working on. When not on a computer but it's very noisy, I would use ear muffs or tissues to cover my ear because I can be very easily distracted sometimes. The only time I'm hard to distract is when I'm reading an interesting book which I haven't read before unless the book is so interesting that I don't care if I read it twice or something.

My only opinion for my parents is that whatever they do, they should never banned my too long on games because I do get bored easily on homework and I do need some games to relax myself. But sometimes, I play with my Lego and do stop motions with it but it would usually take hours and even days!!

Here are other people who's also stressed and distracted because of multi - tasking (although they're not real)...
