My EPIC Scratch game (could be better with Game Maker... :( )

This is my EPIC Scratch game! Here is an awesome screenshot of my game!!!

This game a a fish game where you are the blue shark and you have to eat fishes to get more points. If you eat the jellyfish, you lose at least 100 points!!! the green fishes also make you lose points but just not that much. When you finished all the fishes, don't get bored! They will turn into planktons that rarely changes back into a fish. They give you points too so eat, Eat, EAT!

:D
Hope you'll like it!!!

I.T. Video

One of me video was called "Typolution" It's a video about what we did to mother nature.

The music in this video was quite cool especially when the music matches what the video is showing. The things in the video are all made of letters and signs from a keyboard and that's also why I found it really cool to watch. It also tells and warns people to protect the environment and what might happen if we don't.

The second video I thought that was interesting was called "Typography Motion Video"conscious""

The reason why I chose that video was because I thought it was really interesting. I also thought the images were interesting and it also matches up with the music. This video was about a girl lost in a really weird place. The she went around and explored but in the end, they started to describe the girl using words.

The last video I'm going to choose are "Fireflies".

The reason why I chose this video is because first, I like this music and second, the images in there are colorful and not boring.

iPads!!!!!!

In class today, we had another try on the iPads in I.T.!! I love the iPads! They are so cool! We searched for all sorts of apps for the iPads and I really liked it! I think that the internet on an iPad depands on the speed of the internet. Sometimes the internet are really slow but sometimes, it's really fast.

I also realized that the internet also depands on where you are in the classroom. For example, if I was in Mr. Ficher's room, it was really fast but maybe it's because I'm right next to the airport.

The tips and tricks I think I know are that iPads are usually a bit slower and harder to type so if you want to type super fast, a tip for it is to do the baby type (type with both of your index finger) and try typing really fast. For me, I made way less mistakes and I also realised that I can type faster than before now.

The app I found really interesting was 210 human facts. It actually really gives you cool facts such as your body heat in thirty minute can boil an egg! Isn't that cool? I thought this was really good for health teachers like Mrs. Thompson because she teaches health.

The thing that I can't do on and iPad is probably play games. On my dad's iPhone, I downloaded Angry Birds that I thought was really fun to play but at school, Mrs Narsiman told us that the system will filter games and other stuff so you can't download them. Ooooh... :(

But lastly, I just have to say that the iPads are cool. I thought they are a great learning tool too! :D

Enjoy!

My Minecraft House Tutorials

Here's the first one, without sound because there was an error...

And there's the second one, except for this one is mixed up with Cameron's screen cast so the first 3 minutes are not mine (no sound as well)...

And this is my third one... (I'm planning to make more!)

My written proposal...

Me an my partner Gerald are going to do a "daily news" on games, cartoons and other things that we think that's interesting. Our title is going to be Daily Web Comic news.

What our news will display is:

Games:

  • Computer games like Minecraft or other games too (download and internet).
  • Game for Ipad and Iphone like Plant vs Zombies and others.
  • Video Games for maybe a Wii, Ds, or a PSP...
  • Others.
  • Any game updates for all kind of games.
  • Upcoming games for all kinds too.
We are also going to make reviews of Ipad and Iphone games and see if they are worth buying. For example, Angry Birds seems to me is a pretty cool game. But for some people who hate slingshot games, then it won't be worth buying to them and even if they bought it, they would get bored of it soon anyways. We also thought that we can do a daily news on free games for Ipads and Iphones too! AND, we can also do news daily about game conferences and other stuffs too.

Also, what I'm thinking of doing is putting a caption picture daily that's about video games. It can either be anything from winning significantly, giving advice, or even failing stupidly!

Videos
I'm thinking of placing videos of games and montages about games. I figured that it would be pretty cool to entertain people with such things so that they would appreciate our page more efficiently. I could also use applications like Xtranormal to make video game reviews if needed.

Comics
All of this will be displayed via Bitstrips; an internet application (Like Prezi) that allows you to create comics for your own uses.

Interviews
A good idea that I thought was good was to maybe interview people around Iskl about random topics, such as the Japan earthquake, or how many times can you fart in a minute (Just jokin' about that one).

Question of the day
This is somewhat obvious to even add a description, so I'll just let you guys figure out what I mean by this.

Movies
For this one, I'll probably talk about some upcoming movies, and my first thoughts on them. I could even maybe review them and talk about the main aspects of it too!

iPhone and iPads are useful!

Here is a video. You can choose to watch it now or later...

1. I like making stop motions especially about Lego and I really liked this one:

I thought if I were him, then I'd be so pro because this stop motion is like the best one I've ever watched! But I have made a few by myself too although they seem to be epic fails.
Here it is:

Multi - Tasking Generation

I am not really that good on multi - tasking but sometimes I do that depending on what the work is. Usually, if it's Humanities homework, I would concentrate on it a lot but especially for Math, I might have my Gmail or my YouTube open because I'm a fast worker on math and it won't matter for me if I have to do it on the last minute. I even play games sometimes when I'm doing my homework (sometimes, my parents found out but they only banned games if I'm playing it for a long time) just to relax and have some fun in between.

I have a lot of distractions when I'm doing my homework because I like to keep chat on in case I have trouble on some assignments in which I can ask other people for help. I also get annoyed if the computer froze or the Internet is slow because I have lots of homework on the Internet in Google Docs and I found out I'm pretty short tempered on computer when they're slow or when they froze.

The strategies I use to avoid multi - tasking is first, I would close everything except for the document or the thing I'm currently working on. When not on a computer but it's very noisy, I would use ear muffs or tissues to cover my ear because I can be very easily distracted sometimes. The only time I'm hard to distract is when I'm reading an interesting book which I haven't read before unless the book is so interesting that I don't care if I read it twice or something.

My only opinion for my parents is that whatever they do, they should never banned my too long on games because I do get bored easily on homework and I do need some games to relax myself. But sometimes, I play with my Lego and do stop motions with it but it would usually take hours and even days!!

Here are other people who's also stressed and distracted because of multi - tasking (although they're not real)...

IPhone Apps + My creation!!

In I.T. recently, our class did an activity on Apple IPhone Apps. It was really fun, especially when I got the game Angry Birds!!

Angry Birds is a game that's mostly about aiming and slingshots. If you have a cheat code, you can also unlock a powerful weapon called "The Mighty Eagle". "The Mighty Eagle" will cost money if you don't know the cheat but when you uses it, all the pigs in the level dies. The only bad part is that if you used it once, you need to wait an hour before using it again. The object of the game is to revenge the green pigs for stealing their eggs in the first place (there's a movie clip on Angry Birds on why they kill the pigs). Angry Birds is my favourite game.

                                            http://www.rovio.com/img/angrybirds_big.jpg

The second favourite game I like is Fruit Slice. The game might sound boring if you just read it on here but it is fun once you play it (to most peoples). Fruit Slice is a game that have only one level but goes on forever as long as you live. To slice the fruits, you have to slide across the screen on the fruits to slice them. If you ever miss a fruit, you lose a life. Lose all three then you die then game over. The Death Fruit is way more worse. If you slice/touched it, it sends out lights all around it then you die and lose all your lives. I like Fruit Slice.

The last one out of them all is NOT a game, it's a timer and on there it have all sorts of timings (up to milliseconds!!) and it also displays the date of today. The app is just called Timer but it really helps sometimes when I don't have my watch around and I want to time something like once, we went to Penang not long ago, I forgot my watch in KL and when the we went on a taxi and went about half way, the taxi's speed tester broke and I have to use my watch to time it (I kind of forgot what else we used for measuring but I only remembered this part).

(I couldn't find the time for the IPhone so I put the version for PC)

--------------------------------------------------------My Creation-----------------------------------------------------

Now it's my turn to do my very own Apple Apps. This is an idea for my app below...

NOTE!!: This idea is copyrighted by Zifan!!!!
2011 copyrighted by Zifan

1. This app is a game called Lost in the Universe.
 2. This game is a platform game where a guy got lose in a planet and he have to find the spaceship which can take him home back to Earth.

Ok, first, I will have to make this game on a software (I use Gamemaker for it) or by entering computer language. Next, when I'm finished (done and double checked) with the game, I can upload it to a website or Google (I don't know how yet) to let other people know it. When I'm done with that, I'll wait a few months to see if people is interested. If yes, then I shall think of a way to put the game in IPhones and ITounches or IPads. If I ever get THAT done, it will then cost only 10c U.S. dollars $#$!!
If I ever have this app on my IPhone, I would probably use it only when it's free time or when you're done with everything and you have nothing to do. You can also play it on buses (if you don't get sick by staring at the screen) or the end of Trimester / Semester.
The logo for this game I thought could a website I'm about to make called "Zip Zap Games" (Not now because I haven't learnt that much programmings yet. I could make it look like a lightening.

Here is the background I might use for the game...

(This is what it might look like...)

Reflection on my stop motion

This video below is my stop motion for I.T. class...

Feed backs from other people in my class that's not involved in this stop motion I did...
All is in the comment section...

Reflection from myself...

     1. The thing I really enjoyed this time when I was making this stop motion is that my drawing was actually OK and in fact, readable too! Before I put this on the computer, I thought my drawing was too small because of the way Deeban, my half photo-taker, kept on complaining that it was too small to see and read the message in the speech bubble, which I think it actually IS a bit too small to see so I made the parts that have speech bubbles a bit longer so people can see it better.

     2. I think more likely, I would try to improve the hardware, especially the cameras because some of them have a really lousy focus point. When we were taking pictures for the beginning part (which got deleted later on for some reason), the camera was very annoying and every time we take a picture, the picture become blurry. Sometimes if we're lucky, the picture is better but compared to some cameras we used later on, it's still blurry.

     3. The challenges I found very hard is to agree on a plan together with my partner Deeban. But we did try a load of things such as Dino Run (a game on the Internet), Snaky and others. At first, we did Dino Run, but since time was running out, we have to abort the plan and then we came up the plan of of doing the Epic Bowling Guy stop motion. The other challenge is the time because I thought when we actually started the movie, it was too late so we have to kind of wrap it up a little.

     4. If I ever, ever, get to do this again, I would (no offense Deeban!) choose a different partner and because I have wasted some of my time on arguing this time, I think it caused the limitation of time when we actually started our stop motion. I would probably also choose a harder and a more interesting stop motion because when we were coming up with plans, we have to make such it won't take too much time because we only have about 3 lessons left.

Thank you for reading this blog post and enjoy our short stop motion!!
